This Captivating Wyoming Ranch Is A Little Slice Of Heaven

Wyoming is a place like no other, full of unique small towns, resorts, and ranches. They all have their own personalities, and one quaint guest ranch in the northern part of the state is truly a little slice of heaven.

Born in a Barn is a guest ranch and event center situated on drop dead gorgeous acreage just outside of Sheridan. Envisioned as a haven for creative types who appreciate the extraordinary, it's a place where you can go to get away from it all, soak in the stunning Wyoming countryside, and experience paradise.

Born in a Barn is located at 415 US HWY 14, about 6 miles south of Sheridan.

The ranch sits on acres and acres of exquisite Wyoming landscape.

The accommodations are as unique as the ranch itself, starting with the original bunkhouse. This was where the cowboys lived when it was a working ranch. These days, the cottage has been renovated into a cozy cabin that sleeps five and includes a kitchenette.

There's a mini house, too, that sleeps up to four people and has all the amenities of a full-size house.

The Shasta offers the most extraordinary experience for guests. The retro camper has been fully restored to provide comfort and luxury for two guests. It even includes a private open-air bath featuring a pedestal sink and old-fashioned claw-foot soaking tub.

More rooms are under construction so that soon, more guests can stay at Born in a Barn. In the meantime, the barn, affectionately known as "Darling," is where many of the events take place...

A cross between a flea market and the best made-by-hand market you've ever seen, you'll want to put this event on your calendar. Here's a quick look at the goings-on at the sale:

The ranch is also an idyllic spot for weddings.

They even have a professional wedding coordinator who can take charge and help make your dreams of the big day come true.

There are other events throughout the year, too, like art classes...

...yoga...

...and awesome live music.
