Now that the winter weather has set in, many of us are once again looking for recreation that can only be found this time of year. Some of us like skiing or snowboarding, but if you have kids or just aren’t adept at the more challenging slopes, snow tubing is always a great bet. If you are looking for the perfect venue for snow tubing in West Virginia, look no further than Winterplace Ski Resort.

Located off I-77 in Ghent, Winterplace Ski Resort has an array of slopes for whatever snow sport you most enjoy, including a great hill for snow tubing. This is one of the best ski resorts in West Virginia.

The Winterplace Ski Resort snow tubing slope is perfect for the whole family. There is no need to bring any equipment with you as the resort will give you everything you need.

The only stipulation is a height requirement of 44 inches to go tubing. There is a range of prices depending on how many hours you wish to spend on the slopes. There is also a kiddie park for children under 44 inches. Check the website and book your session on one of the best tubing hills in West Virginia!

When you arrive, the resort will provide you with a tube. After that, you will find two Super Carpet Lifts to take you to the top of the hill. At the top, you will find 10 tracks to go down. There is no limit on how many times you can go down the slope, just the amount of hours you chose to pay for.

Additionally, the resort offers slopes for snowboarding and skiing. It also offers a food court, a mid-mountain lodge with a fireplace and a full menu, karaoke contests, a cafe serving brats and beer made from an in-house microbrewery, a large deck to take in the view, and a lounge with music, food, and drinks.
