This Log Cabin Campground In Washington May Just Be Your New Favorite Destination

Some people camp in tents, while others enjoy sleeping right under the stars. And then there are those of us who prefer a slightly less rustic experience of "camping" in a cabin. And for our people, Olympic National Park's Log Cabin Resort is a perfect option.

You'll find this secluded spot at 3183 E Beach Road in Olympic National Park.

It's in the middle of nowhere, which is part of the appeal -- the nearest "town" is the tiny community of Elwha.

The property is located right on Lake Crescent, so the views are excellent.

You might spend your entire trip relaxing at the campground.

The cabins are cozy and rustic, ranging from small camper cabins to A-Frame chalets.

Prices vary based on the season and the accommodations, but they typically range from $100 - $250 per night. The rate includes breakfast each morning as well as a $3 optional Washington's National Park Fund donation, which you can opt out of when you book.

The resort dining room is where you'll go for a hearty breakfast each morning.

There's also an onsite grocery store with necessities and firewood, although you may want to stock up on your way since they can get expensive here.

Keep in mind, these are considered camping cabins -- they have beds and bedding, but you'll want to bring most of your own amenities.

But that means this totally counts as camping.

If you'd rather camp in your RV or tent, there are sites you can rent for that as well.

You can also sleep in a room in the main lodge if that's more your style.
