You Can Camp Overnight At This Remote Winery In Washington
Four Lakes Winery in Washington offers wine tasting and camping in the scenic Chelan Valley.
Wine lovers, rejoice: there are now more than 1,000 wineries in Washington, along with over 60,000 acres of wine grapes. The Evergreen State is the second largest wine-producing state in the U.S., and there's something for everyone here.
But did you know a few of our wineries also happen to have campsites? If camping in a peaceful vineyard after a day of wine tasting sounds like a dream come true, you'll love the set up at Four Lakes Winery.
Four Lakes Winery is a family owned and operated estate winery in the beautiful Chelan Valley.
The winery is located in Manson, and although the tasting room has only been around for about five years, the wine has been in the works since 2004.
The name speaks for itself—this property overlooks Chelan, Wapato, Roses, and Dry Lakes.
On any given day, you'll find plenty of happy patrons sipping vino and taking in the views from this deck.
The vineyards were planted almost 20 years ago, and they're thriving.
The winery makes both red and white wines.
But the best part is, if you end up loving this place so much you don't want to leave, you don't have to (as long as you have your camping gear with you).
Four Lakes Winery offers a few campsites for overnight guests.
The campsites are available to rent for $50 on Hipcamp.com.
Stay here and enjoy the views, or use it as a beautiful base camp for hiking, fishing, exploring, and wine tasting around the valley.
The views here are amazing ... and so is the wine.
Whether or not you spend the night, you'll fall in love with Four Lakes.
Four Lakes Winery is just one of the many gems you'll find in the Chelan area. But it isn't every day you stumble across a winery that encourages overnight camping.
