The Secluded Glampground In Washington That Will Take You A Million Miles Away From It All
Are you more of a hotel person or a camping person? Thanks to the creation of "glamping," you can be both. Combining the best of both worlds with luxury bedding and furniture placed in canvas tents, "glampgrounds" offer a luxurious retreat that also feels rustic. And Olympia's Pampered Wilderness has definitely perfected the art of luxury camping.
Pampered Wilderness sits nestled within the campgrounds of Millersylvania State Park, so it's surrounded by tall trees and lush greenery.
You'll notice the beautifully decorated canvas cabins as soon as you pull in.
They're pretty hard to miss.
Each cabin has a king-sized bed with a memory foam mattress or two double beds), electric heaters, tables, a mini fridge, microwave and a private outdoor firepit.
The Modern Wilderness cabin also has a flatscreen TV.
Coffee pots, muffins and popcorn are provided, and so are the ingredients for S'mores.
You're welcome to bring food to barbecue as well.
You can spend your days hiking through the park, shopping in Tenino, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity of the great outdoors.
Showers and bathrooms are located on the property for your convenience.
They've thought of everything here.
The cabins are available from April until October.
They book fast, so make your reservation quickly if you'd like to go this year.
Would you try glamping? Pampered Wilderness is just one of several beautiful glampgrounds in Washington.
