This Might Just Be The Most Beautiful Campground In All Of Washington
Discover the top hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest known for their scenic views and diverse landscapes.
Awarding a Washington State campground with the title of Most Beautiful is no easy task. From our beachside campsites to our more rustic areas, this state is brimming with incredible places to spend the night under the stars. But as visually stunning as they all are, it's tough to top the campground at Spencer Spit State Park.
Spencer Spit State Park is located on Lopez Island, one of the most breathtaking spots in the state (and on Earth).
The camping area is on the northeast corner of the island on a sand spit that encircles a lagoon.
There are three small group camps here, two of which are very private.
The third site doesn't offer privacy, but what it does offer is beachside camping and stunning views.
The seven beach campsites are tent sites and are walk-in only.
But just imagine ending your day with a view like this.
This campground has water and restrooms, but there are no showers here.
Reservations are highly recommended as this is a very sought after location for campers.
Washington has some of the most beautiful campsites in the country. Of course, for some of us, only glamping will do.
