Virginia has an abundance of historic inns, trendy boutique hotels, and classic resorts that promise a wonderful vacation. But if you're in the mood for something a bit less conventional, we have just the place in mind. Head to Stanardsville, Virginia, where you'll discover a working farm complete with a renovated Airstream Airbnb, totally outfitted with everything you need for a staycation.
Tucked away on a remote working farm known as Cair Paravel, this one-of-a-kind Airstream accommodation is like nothing else in Virginia.
To start, it's a vintage model vehicle from 1986 that's been completely renovated to ensure a comfortable stay.
And yet the Airstream still has all of its retro charm, as you'll notice when you tour the inside of the space.
Despite being just 224 square feet, this cozy accommodation has everything you'll need to relax, unwind, and recharge.
Amenities include a full bed, wardrobe, natural gas stovetop, toaster oven, microwave, TV, and full bathroom.
The space can accommodate up to four guests, with use of the pull-out couch. Couldn't you imagine yourself lounging on this comfortable bed?
And while the indoor space is completely unique, you'll definitely want to take advantage of the great outdoors. Whether that means relaxing out on the deck or hiking in Shenandoah National Park, just a quick drive away, you'll love the remote feel of this area.
As you might have guessed from the photo above, the unit is pet friendly! There's a one-dog limit and an added fee of $50 if you'd like to bring your four-legged friend along with you.
Perhaps the coolest feature of all is the private clawfoot tub just a few steps from the trailer door. You'll soak all your worries away surrounded by the complete privacy of the woods.
