This Snowy Vermont Cabin Is the Coziest Winter Escape
Gaze out at the mountains, as a fire roars in the wood-burning fireplace, in this snow-covered Airbnb in Vermont, an enchanting winter getaway.
Snowy winter days in Vermont, especially if we don’t have to go out, are oh-so-cozy. I loved living in Burlington, particularly during the winter when the snow transformed the beautiful landscape into a breathtaking wonderland. But, we don’t always have the luxury of curling up indoors as the snow tumbles outside, which makes carving even just a few days out for a winter getaway a good idea, and this snow-covered cabin in Vermont is just the place to escape.
Embrace the stillness of winter at the Rustic Retreat at Twin Ponds in Enosburg, an enchanting cabin surrounded by snow-capped trees and the Cold Hollow Mountains. Nestled on 500 tranquil acres, the cozy cabin in Vermont boasts stunning views of the landscapes and promises a respite far from the noise of daily life.
With two bedrooms, three beds, and one bathroom, the pet-friendly Airbnb comfortably accommodates up to four guests, although this remote spot is idyllic for a romantic getaway or solo stay. Claim the first bedroom and, from your queen bed, wake up in the morning to awe-inspiring views of the snow from the wall of windows. But what really makes the bedroom stand out is the claw-foot tub. Fill it up with bubbles for a long soak, sit back, and let your worries melt away as you stare out the windows.
Tucked in the loft, the second bedroom, with two beds, features plenty of natural light from the front and back windows. Since it is an open-concept design, there is no separation, except for a staircase, from the bedroom and the main floor.
When you’re not curled up in bed, gaze out at the snow-dusted mountains from the couch in the living room as a fire crackles in the wood-burning fireplace. The living room has everything you need for a relaxing winter day – a 55-inch TV, a comfortable couch, and an end table to prop your feet. The dining room is just a few steps from the living room and offers ample space for a family meal.
Whip up a delicious snack or a hot meal in the fully-equipped kitchen and, if it isn’t too cold, grab marshmallows for roasting around the outdoor fire pit. Or dust off the furniture on the patio and sip a piping hot chocolate as you breathe in the crisp mountain air.
Create unforgettable winter memories with a stay at this cozy cabin in Vermont, starting by heading to its official Airbnb page to view more photos, see a full list of amenities, and book your stay.
