Enjoy Snowy Days and Starry Nights at This Winter Cabin Airbnb in Vermont

Escape to a cozy cabin in the woods for a perfect winter getaway in New Jersey. Enjoy the hot tub, fireplace, and lake views, plus nearby hiking and skiing.

Vermont is a tiny piece of paradise, at least it always has been to me, especially with so much natural beauty and so many quiet places where we can unwind, relax, and reflect. What I love most about Vermont is the changing seasons. Each brings awe-inspiring beauty, but winter is probably my favorite time in Vermont, especially after a snowstorm. Those snowy days, when cabin fever sometimes sets in, are perfect for a relaxing getaway at this winter cabin Airbnb in Vermont.

For many of us during childhood, treehouses were pure magic, a place where, if we were lucky to have one or know someone with one, we could go wherever our imaginations took us. See if those childhood feelings of awe return when you check into the Honey Pond Treehouse, an enchanting  Airbnb in South Londonderry.

While you’ll feel miles away from it all, in reality, you’ll be near a farmhouse, where the owners live, so you will likely hear the goings-on around you, including the snowplow clearing the fresh powder. The owners’ pup might even greet you during your stay at the treehouse, which is dog-friendly for an extra fee. You can bring your pooch along but must follow the Airbnb rules.

Feel your stress melt away from the time you stroll through the front door of Honey Pond Treehouse. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom Airbnb comfortably sleeps up to three guests, making it an idyllic spot for a couple’s or small family getaway or a solo adventure. One of the first things you’ll likely notice is the compact size of the treehouse. There is no separate living space, only the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom.

Although the treehouse is small, it feels spacious as the winter light streams in from the windows, French doors, and the huge skylight above the bed. Turn on the fireplace by the bed, curl up under the covers, and gaze at the starry sky once the sun goes down. This enchanting Airbnb is all about relaxing. Bring bubble bath, fill up the tub, and let the bubbles erase all your worries. The toilet and shower are in a separate bathroom, but the tub is right in the bedroom, so you can watch the snow as it falls outside.

A partial partition separates the bedroom and the kitchen, a cozy space with a fridge, a stove and oven, a microwave, and a hot water kettle. Wake up to the sunlight kissing you from above then start your day with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.  If it’s not too cold, head out to the balcony to sip your drink and gaze at the morning sky.

A fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows for s’mores, sits a few steps from the treehouse, but the real hidden gem is the hot tub. Tucked on the covered patio, the hot tub is open certain hours all year. Slip into the hot tub, relax, and enjoy the view of the snow-capped trees and small pond.
