To get started on your eerie adventure in Vermont, you'll need to travel about a mile south outside of Sudbury Village to reach Hyde Manor. The hotel is located just off Route 30.
In its heyday, the Hyde Manor was a summer resort run by the Hyde family. The hotel spanned about 100 acres and had a dance hall, golf course, and even a bowling alley!
Upon the onset of World War 1 and 2, the hotel began to go downhill. This was mainly due to guests reprioritizing how they spent their time and resources.

In the 1960s ownership changed hands and for the first time, it was no longer owned by the Hyde family. Attempts were made to revitalize the manor as a hotel, but it never returned to its former glory.
