Zion National Park Lodge offers a historic and magical stay with comfortable accommodations and proximity to popular trails.
Zion National Park is Utah's finest gem. Its rugged, natural beauty draws more than 4.5 million visitors every year, many of whom just stop by for a day of exploration. For an especially magical trip to Zion, stay there overnight in its historic lodge.
Zion National Park is Utah's most treasured gem. Many people visit for the day, but you could spend weeks exploring this 229-square-mile park.
Zion was established as a national park in 1919, and the lodge was designed in 1924. In 1966, a fire completely destroyed it, but it was quickly rebuilt and received a historic renovation in 1990.
A visit to this lodge is like stepping back into the 1920s. It's the only lodging inside the park, and a stay here is truly magical.
The lobby, with its rock columns, exposed beams, and cozy seating provides plenty of historic charm.
Guest rooms are comfortable and each has a private deck with views of the park. Choose two queen-sized beds or a king.
The lodge's suites are more luxurious, with a separate sitting room and wet bar with a refrigerator and microwave in addition to a bedroom that features a king-sized bed.
The 28 quaint cabins at the lodge were built in 1927 and 1929, and they're original.
Cabins have either two double beds or one queen-sized bed, and they have a private porch, gas fireplace, and mini fridges and microwaves.
Guests at the lodge are within walking distance of several trails, including the popular Emerald Pools Trail.
While the Upper Emerald Pools trail is closed due to storm damage, the Lower and Middle Emerald Pools sections are open.
Keep an eye on the current trail conditions here.
After a long day of hiking and exploration, you'll be ready for a meal at the Red Rock Grill or Castle Dome Cafe, both of which include even more views of the park.
