You Don’t Need To Travel To Europe For The Swiss-Style Christmas At Zermatt Resort In Utah

The Christmas Market is an annual favorite, and admission is free! This Old-World market is a great place to find gifts for all your loved ones.

The market opens on Friday, December 13th at 11 a.m., and offers a unique shopping opportunity until 7 p.m. It's open the same hours on Saturday, December 14th.

New this year, Zermatt is celebrating the carving of Räbeliechtli. This Swiss tradition involves carving beets into pretty lanterns. There will also be a Räbeliechtliumzug - a parade of the unique Räbeliechtli lanterns.

Carve your own Räbeliechtli on Friday or Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and see the Räbeliechtliumzug on both days at 6:50 p.m.

The kids will love to decorate sugar cookies and make a special holiday craft...

...and they'll also enjoy decorating their very own gingerbread house. All three activities are available on Saturday, December 14th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Visit with Santa Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and let him know if you've been naughty or nice.

Make some holiday memories at the Princess Tea on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Dine on tasty sandwiches and dainty desserts, and sip some hot cocoa.
