This Waterpark Campground In Utah Belongs At The Top Of Your Summer Bucket List
Cherry Hill in Kaysville offers both waterpark fun and camping, making it a perfect summer destination for families.
Our two favorite things to do in the summer are splashing and swimming in a waterpark, and finding a shady spot to enjoy a night of camping. At this water park in Kaysville, you can do both!
Cherry Hill is the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day. It celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, and it's been a family favorite ever since it opened. You'll find this water park resort at 1325 S Main St., Kaysville, UT 84037.
Cherry Hill has something for everyone in the family. Kids of all ages will love the Pirates Cove Activity Pool, with its 40-foot-long pirate ship and 18" pool that's filled with sprinklers and water features.
The littlest swimmers will enjoy the Jungle Boats, which are only for kids under 48 inches tall.
Bigger kids will have a blast on the Double Dragons waterslides that twist and turn through dark, foggy tunnels.
Swim in the Pirates Cove Pool, which is a large swimming pool perfect for splashing around.
Float down Grant's Gulch Lazy River, where you can bob, swim, or ride on an inner tube. Every once in awhile, you'll be hit with shooting water.
Cardiac Canyon is less lazy and more crazy, with its steep drops and waterfalls that will soak you as you pass underneath.
When you're ready to take a break from all that water fun, head to the 18-hole mini golf course, try the climbing wall, navigate through the Jungle Maze, and play Aeroball on the trampolines.
Grab a slice of pie at The Pie Pantry, where you'll find cherry, apple, razzleberry, and chapple Pie, plus ice cream and frozen yogurt. You can find lunch or dinner at The Pirate's Grill and Grant's Pizza.
There are plenty of shady spots here to spread your blanket and enjoy a picnic.
When the day winds down, the fun doesn't have to be over! Stay overnight in the campground, which offers 180 campsites including RV sites and tent sites.
The campground is open for camping now; the water park opens Memorial Day weekend. Make your camping reservations now!
Camping reservations are strongly recommended. Visit Cherry Hill's website for more information and rates. Have you ever camped overnight at Cherry Hill? We'd love to hear about your trip!
Here's a wild and wacky water park that doesn't offer camping, but it's lots of fun, too. Check it out this summer!
