This Cozy Winter Getaway in Utah Is the Perfect Cold-Weather Escape

This cozy cabin in Park City is one of the best winter getaways in Utah. It's secluded but still close to top seasonal attractions.

If I had to pick one word to describe winter, it would be “cozy.” Sure, I love exciting winter getaways in Utah that involve lots of outdoor adventures, but I also adore the slowness of the season — so let me tell you about one of my favorite places to balance both.

Hill Top Hideout is an Airbnb cabin in Park City that offers the best of both worlds. It’s close to Utah’s top winter attractions while still being far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life, which is why I think it makes the perfect cold-weather escape.

Enjoy panoramic views of Park City’s stunning winter landscape when you stay at Hill Top Hideout. Perched on a hilltop far above the city, this modern cabin is mere minutes from the world-renowned Park City Ski Resort while still offering plenty of seclusion.

The cabin sleeps up to 11 guests in three bedrooms (six beds total), and it has three full bathrooms. Contemporary but cozy, the decor is minimalist in nature and features earthy tones and sleek lines. There are lots of windows in every room, so no matter where you are in the cabin, you’ll always have a direct view of the beautiful surroundings.

While the cabin is great for those who just need a home base for their winter adventures, it’s also ideal for curling up on the couch with a warm beverage and watching some TV or reading a book while the snow falls. There’s ample living room seating for everyone to spread out and relax, and the kitchen boasts modern appliances and cooking basics for making delicious meals.

A spacious front deck offers stunning panoramic vistas of the winter wonderland that is Park City this time of year. Whether you’re savoring your morning coffee in the peace and quiet or watching the sun set below the snow-capped peaks, the cabin is located in the perfect spot for embracing the beauty and stillness of the cold weather season.

Even better, you can go sledding right on the property! If you don’t want to brave the crowds at the ski resort, this is the next best thing. Either way, though, you’ll want to make sure you have high-quality winter gear to stay warm on your trip.

Visit the Airbnb listing for Hill Top Hideout to learn more about the cabin, including current availability and nightly rates. I truly think it’s one of the best winter getaways in Utah. And if you need some suggestions to make your Utah trip (or staycation!) extra special, see our itinerary planner for personalized recommendations.
