Stardust Big Bend is one of the newer rental properties in Terlingua, and we love it. Several A-frame cabins offer stunning views of the Chisos mountains while being only five minutes away from Big Bend National Park. 

Each of the A-frame cabins is laid out slightly differently, but all of them come with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Many of them can sleep up to five guests, though four is ideal. That blue sofa in the photo above turns into a sofabed.

The views from the bedroom are simply sensational. I’d have a hard time getting out of bed when this is the view.  Guests have a fully stocked kitchen, linens, toiletries, and more. These cabins are very close to the Terlingua airport, plus you can easily swing by a nearby grocery store to grab some groceries to bring to the cabin.

Outside, you’ll find a private hammock and a sofa dining set as well as a fire pit and even more seating to take in those views. Even though there are other cabins nearby, you'll feel like you're a million miles away from everyone.

Guests also have access to the shared clubhouse, so even if the weather keeps you from all of the nearby hiking trails you can still have some fun. The clubhouse has a pool table, an air hockey table, a foosball table, and more.

In the evenings, kick back with your favorite beverage and enjoy a starry night. If you’ve never seen the night sky from a dark sky park, prepare to be amazed. It is truly incredible what light pollution keeps us from seeing.
