If you're in search of hotels near Big Bend National Park, look no further than Chisos Mountains Lodge. The only place to stay within the park itself, the lodge offers a remote getaway in the heart of the vast desert landscape. It's surrounded by nature, letting you escape the stress of the modern world and enjoy the simple things in life.
After a long day of hiking in Big Bend National Park, nothing beats settling in for a good night's rest.
Instead of making the long drive to the nearest town, why not just stay in the park itself?
Nestled at the base of the mighty Chisos Mountains, the Chisos Mountains Lodge is the only hotel within the national park.
Both hotel and motel rooms, as well as private cottages, are available, so you can either relax in style or enjoy simpler surroundings.
There are 72 rooms in total, each one accommodating between three and five guests.
Amenities vary but generally include basic appliances such as a coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator, plus a full bath with a tub and shower.
Stay in one of the Roosevelt Stone Cottages for a truly lavish experience.
Five of the six cottages feature three double beds, while the sixth VIP cottage has one king.
The cottages sleep between three and seven people, and amenities are similar to those of the standard guest rooms - with one major exception.
Each cottage boasts its own covered porch, so you can gaze out at the mountainous landscape without a care in the world.
Check out the view from one of the cottages. Known as "The Window," this spectacular panorama is the most iconic scene in the entire park - and you get a front-row seat.
Can you imagine a better backdrop for your morning coffee ritual?
Guests can also enjoy all three meals at the on-site restaurant, so you don't have to leave the park for any reason.
With both indoor and patio seating and a menu full of delicious homestyle eats, there's no better place to fuel up before or after spending some time on the trails.
Another perk of staying at the lodge is getting to see some of the most awe-inspiring sunrises and sunsets of your life.
The Window is like nature's picture frame, and the vast desert sky is the canvas.
Please note: the cottages and some of the rooms do not have air conditioning. Visit the lodge's website or Facebook page for more information, such as nightly rates. You can also make a reservation via the website.
