In Tennessee, I can’t think of a better location for a romantic getaway than the Smoky Mountains region. Gatlinburg has an infectiously laid-back atmosphere, and I feel like time slows down in these mountains. The colder months see the fewest visitors, so it can be a great time to visit and avoid the crowds. So, when you are looking for a winter cabin in Tennessee, look no further than The Star Window.

There is something so intrinsically mesmerizing about a light snowfall. The snow becomes even more magical when you are cuddled in with the love of your life inside a rental cabin. While the outdoors looks like a glittery snow globe inside, you can find yourself warm under the soft covers. There is only one bedroom, and that's all you’ll need as you spend the night alone in this secluded cabin in the Smoky Mountains. Unlike some cozy cabins in the area, you will have plenty of room with a massive great room, a fully stocked kitchen, and even an overhead door leading out into the covered porch.

Cozy up under the stars, huddled around the firepit while roasting marshmallows and recounting shared memories of your love story to one another. Or if the weather outside is too frightful then flip on the gas fireplace inside for a romantic evening.

Then, when you are finished, you can escape once again to this snowy mountainous cabin, just waiting in the Gatlinburg wilderness for some more alone time.
