This Might Just Be The Most Charming Hotel In All Of Tennessee

Tennessee is bursting with southern hospitality, but every once in awhile a sweet space stands out to us. Today, it's the Oliver Hotel in Knoxville, Tennessee. This beautiful and historic space is located right in the thick of downtown, but you'd never know it. Take a moment to rest in their beautifully decorated lobby, indulge in a meal at one of their award-winning restaurants. This is a one stop shop for the budget traveler with a taste for brilliance.

The historic Oliver Hotel is an east Tennessee gem, located in a building that has seen its share of local businesses.

The gorgeous space was once a bakery, switching gears and operating as a candy shop and soda fountain as well as drugstore for years. It wasn't until 1982 that the space was converted to a hotel for the guests of the World's Fair.

As you can see by the Sunsphere, Knoxville is still quite proud of its role in the fair. It is now located in the World's Fair Park, not too far from your impending stay at the Oliver Hotel. (See what we did there...?)

A stay at the hotel puts you just steps from Oliver Royale and the famed Tupelo Honey Cafe, as well as the Peter Kern Libarary. Perfect for a drink!

The intimately designed boutique hotel gives you a sweet retreat from the rush of the city, while not removing you from the hustle and bustle entirely. Indulge in a stay that boasts high ceilings and a whole lot of southern hospitality.

We'd stay here. Yes.

One of the aspects that really set the Oliver Hotel apart for us was its variety of rooms, spaces available for every single budget. Whether you're looking for a simple place to lay your head or a suite with a view, there's no need to look any further. A step outside takes you right to Market Square and the thick of downtown - so why not indulge in a beautiful retreat?
