Pay Homage To Providence’s History At This Recently Renovated Rhode Island Hotel
Graduate Providence, a historic hotel in Rhode Island, offers luxurious accommodations and unique amenities, making it perfect for a staycation.
Vacations are nice, but they aren't always realistic. A staycation, however, is as simple as packing an overnight bag, taking a short drive, and enjoying a little change of scenery. And the Ocean State is the perfect place to do just that.
The recently renovated and remodeled Graduate Providence just reopened, and they're ready to welcome you.
You'll definitely recognize this building -- this hotel used to be the Providence Biltmore.
The building was constructed in 1922 and is considered a local landmark.
While the lobby space has been remastered, if you look up, you'll get a glimpse of the original ornate ceilings.
It's important to preserve as much of the building as possible. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 and is a member of Historic Hotels of America.
The common spaces here are extremely creative and eye-catching.
No wonder the hotel (back in its Providence Biltmore days) was featured in a few TV shows and movies.
As you can imagine, the rooms and suites here are also stunning.
They range from Deluxe King rooms to the luxurious Graduate Premier Suite, which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Splurge on a suite, grab breakfast from the on-site cafe, Poindexter, and savor the downtime.
But whatever you do, don't forget to explore the property, or you just might miss the charming rooftop and other amenities.
What a view!
Graduate Providence is officially open again, and for that we are thankful.
Come check out this historic, visually stunning property.
