Burlingame State Park Campground is located in the charming town of Charlestown in Washington County.

As one of the larger recreational areas found in the state, Burlingame spans more than 3,000 acres in size.

The state park is located along Watchaug Pond, a 573 acre pond commonly referred to as Kettle Pond. Burlingame State Park camping is so beautiful here!

Its location next to this beautiful pond allows for fishing, swimming, kayaking, and so much more.

The park is also adjacent to the Kimball Wildlife Sanctuary, making camping here the place to experience diverse wildlife and habitats. The sanctuary makes camping in Rhode Island so peaceful.

The Burlingame campground offers more than 700 campsites ranging in little to no amenities to a small number of cabins for those seeking a little more comfort. Hiking trails are found throughout the park, and kayak rentals are also available.

You can purchase firewood at the Burlingame Camp Store to prepare your meals during your visit the old fashioned way.
