But, first check into one of the 10 cozy rooms in the restored farmhouse. General Merritt's Suite, for example, occupies the top floor of the farmhouse and features two bedrooms, a gas log fireplace, and a private stairway.

Of course, a delicious breakfast awaits each morning of your visit. Sit down to an old-fashioned farm breakfast that might include bacon, other breakfast meats, donuts, and muffins.

Then, spend the day exploring nearby attractions - Gettysburg National Military Park, The Shriver House Museum, and the Gettysburg Heritage Museum.
