The Secluded Glampground In Oklahoma That Will Take You A Million Miles Away From It All

Glamping: "Going camping, but with glamour. There's no tent to pitch, no sleeping bag to unroll, no fire to build for food."

If your style of camping is a little more glamorous than traditional camping, then glamping is the perfect alternative for you. Lake Eufaula State Park has a campground (or glampground) that rents three yurts for overnight guests looking to camp without the hassle of leaky tents, bulky camping gear and dirty conditions. Check out this secluded glampground in the Sooner State that will take you a million miles away from it all.

Lake Eufaula State Park is located in eastern Oklahoma along the shores of Lake Eufaula - the largest lake in the state. The three yurts at the campground offer an overnight stay unlike any other.

Every yurt comes equipped with heating/air conditioning, all bedding, a microwave, mini fridge, electricity and television. There is no running water inside the yurts but the restrooms are located close by.

The Longhorn Loop Honeymoon yurt features a queen-sized log canopy bed inside, two chairs, lights and tables. There's also two picnic tables, a grill and fire pit outdoors. Looks like glamping is a bit more comfortable than camping in a sleeping bag, doesn't it?

The rental price for the Longhorn Loop Yurt is $100 per night and requires a 2-night minimum stay on the weekends.

The outdoor deck and walkway is beautifully lit for a gorgeous night under the stars.

The Hummingbird Beach yurt also has a great deck outside and comes with two full-sized futon bunk beds inside.

The overnight rental price for this yurt runs around $85 per night and has great access to the beach area of Lake Eufaula.

The third yurt - The Longhorn Loop - features one foldout futon, large picnic shelter outside and lake access close to your yurt.

Lake Eufaula State Park has many outdoor activities for you to enjoy during your glamping excursion. For starters, try out one of the many hiking trails.
