This Quirky Hotel Is One Of The Happiest Places In All Of Oklahoma
Happy Days Hotel in McAlester offers a retro-themed stay with themed rooms, an entertainment center, and an adjacent 50's diner.
We've previously featured lots of quirky places around the state, but one of my favorites is Happy Days Hotel in McAlester. It's the perfect spot for a staycation because they have everything you need on-site so you never have to leave during your stay. From bowling and entertainment to food and recreation, this '50s-era attraction will have you smiling throughout your stay. Check it out below:
For starters, this place is called Happy Days Hotel so you know you're going to have a good time as you step back into 1950 when rock and roll is king.
Just make sure when you pull in the parking lot, you don't take Elvis' reserved parking spot.
You'll find Happy Days Hotel at 1400 S George Nigh Expy in McAlester. It's a family owned business with friendly service and great amenities.
As you enter the hotel, you won't be able to stop smiling because whole place is decorated in a fun retro theme with bright colors and decorations.
There's nothing boring about this place! Elvis and James Dean have been spotted dining here so bring your camera.
Themed guest rooms and suites make this hotel full of character. Choose the Elvis or I Love Lucy suite or enjoy James Dean and Marilyn Monroe rooms. Every room comes with a hot continental breakfast and free wi-fi.
Not only is there a hotel but there's also a huge entertainment center, so bring the whole family along and enjoy a weekend away.
Enjoy a delicious meal at the adjacent restaurant - Angel's Diner - a 50's themed restaurant and steakhouse. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, so all your meals can be enjoyed right there on-site.
