From the Amish Country setting to the endless activities, Baylor Beach Park in Navarre is a truly unique campsite with plenty to do. When you visit, you feel like you’re uncovering one of Ohio’s best-kept secrets. Here's why you'll want to check out this family owned and operated campground and water park:
With 60 campsites and 75 acres of family fun to discover, this little-known campground is a hidden gem tucked away in Ohio Amish Country.
You'll find it at 8777 Manchester Ave. S.W. Navarre, OH 44662.
Baylor Beach Park features a 2-acre manmade swimming lake with sandy beaches. It's picture perfect for a family day of fun in the sun, as there are activities for all ages here.
The lake is spring-fed daily with fresh, well water. It's also chemically treated. (Please note: No pets are permitted at the lake.)
Be sure to take on the 90-ft. "Tube of Terror" while you're here, (pictured below.)
Several kiddie slides are also available. You'll also find numerous fountains, sprayers, diving boards, log rolls, tipping buckets and more within the lake.
There's also a designated boating area, where you can rent paddle-boats, "funyaks" and aqua bikes.
Boating hours on Monday - Thursday are 12 p.m. - 6 p.m., and 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Friday - Sunday.
Out of water, you'll find plenty to do as well, including mini golf, corn hole, sand volleyball, playgrounds and more.
Note: Mini golf costs $3.50 per person to play and children ages 3 and under are free. Hours of operation are as follows: Monday - Thursday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., Friday - Sunday and holidays from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
You can even go gem mining at Baylor Beach Park. (Mining bags range in price from $6 - $11.)

RV camping season at Baylor Beach Park is from May 1 - October 15. Pets are allowed and reservations are highly recommended.
