The Incredible Spring-Fed Lake In Ohio You Absolutely Need To Visit

Warner weather means it's time to start thinking about all the places you're going to explore this spring and summer season. Natural Springs Resort in New Paris, Ohio is a lesser-known gem that features a beautiful, spring-fed lake. It's the picture perfect place to take a dip on a sunny day or camp for the weekend.

What was once Stone Quarry decades ago is now a family fun destination in southwest Ohio called Natural Springs Resort.

You'll find it at 500 S Washington St., New Paris, OH 45347.

The gorgeous spring-fed Silver Lake makes a fun swimming hole for visitors and campers alike. It's surrounded by beautiful rock formations that are remnants of the resort's quarry days.

Please note: A swimming pass for the day is $5 and children 3 and under are free.

At the beach, you'll find plenty of sand to stretch out on and a diving board out on the water.

Swimming hours at the beach are 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. for the public and 9:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. for registered campers.

You'll also find two water slides that are unbelievably fun. All-day access for the water slides is just $3.50 per person.

Pictured above is The Roaring River, which features a 27-ft. tall peak with a 66-ft. sliding lane. It's great to race a friend on.

If you'd rather not swim in the spring-fed lake, there's also a heated pool at Natural Springs Resort.

It's close to the water slides and beach, so you can still venture over there if you like.

While you can just swim for the day, camping here makes your visit that much more special.

There are multiple RV sections, both paved and non-paved sites with full hook-up services and great views.

You can even stay in a mini cabin, a standard loft cabin, a choice camper and a deluxe loft cabin.
