This Amazing North Dakota Campground Is The Perfect Place To Pitch Your Tent

When you really need a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, head to the hills for some rustic camping. You'll get away from the noise of the television and the stress of work, and make some memories that will last a lifetime. Here's one campground you should definitely consider.

Cross Ranch State Park is nestled right next to the Missouri River, on a rare, undeveloped section where the land has been left in its primitive state.

You'll find the park at 1403 River Road in Center, North Dakota.

Pitch your tent on a campsite here and enjoy the spectacular scenery. The campground includes restroom and shower facilities and playgrounds. The sites must be reserved in advance.

The campsite are spacious, with picnic tables, fire pits and plenty of space to spread out.

If you'd rather have accommodations that are a little more modern, rent a cabin.

While there's no running water or toilet inside the cabins, they're cozy spots to spend the night. Cabins are equipped with wood-burning stoves, electricity, bunks and basic furniture. They sleep six people.

Several yurts also offer comfy accommodations.

Yurts are equipped with furniture, gas heating and electricity. They're each located near a vault toilet and running water.
