I’m a sucker for a good view, and this Airbnb in North Carolina has a direct view of Pilot Mountain from the front porch. This is where you’d find me every morning and every evening, soaking up beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There is also a firepit outside, which is perfect for smores and good conversations. I love how open the land is, and I would bet this is an awesome spot to do a little stargazing, too!
The open-concept floorplan lets you cook up dinner while others can relax in the living room. Stainless steel appliances will convince you that you're a better chef than you are, though if cooking on vacation is a dealbreaker (I get it), you'll find plenty of restaurants in downtown Pilot. Cousin Gary’s is a local favorite, serving up hearty country cooking in a family-friendly, all-you-can-eat-buffet. For burgers and fries, you’ve got to swing by The Tilted Ladder.
You don’t have to take my word for it; let’s go to the reviews!
