For an adventure like this, you'll need typical gear such as sturdy shoes, gloves, protective eyewear, digging tools, buckets, and bags to hold your crystals — all of which are things that you can find in the camp store.

Once you have all your equipment, you can explore the Herkimer Diamond Mines and let the fun begin.

Some will be lucky enough to find loose crystals in the dirt, while others will have to do a bit of digging to find something shiny in the rough.

At their campground, you'll find a total of five cabins that are available to rent between the months of April and October.

One cabin can hold six guests, while the other four can hold four guests — each one filled with rustic charm.
