In a world that glorifies productivity and always being on the go, allowing yourself time to rest can seem, well, like work. If you find yourself teetering on the edge of burnout or even just want a reason to treat yourself, you'll want to pack up your bags and head over to the Ojo Santa Fe, a luxurious resort that we're sure you'll absolutely love!
Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort—previously known as Sunrise Springs—sits a short drive off Interstate 25 south of Santa Fe.
This resort is surrounded by verdant arroyos and agricultural lands in the La Cienega Valley, making this the perfect retreat in a quiet landscape.
The resort is home to a number of spring-fed thermal pools where you can enjoy a peaceful soak underneath the shade of cottonwoods and right at the edge of a koi-filled pond.
One thing to note: this resort doesn't have natural hot springs. The pools are filled with local artesian waters and then warmed to temperatures between 95 and 104 degrees.
If you're craving a little more tranquility, the resort also has a private soaking tub and pool.
This is a great secluded getaway experience day or night.
And, if you're looking for a chance to stretch and swim when the temperatures are warmer, Ojo Santa Fe has a large saltwater swimming pool.
The pool is open seasonally and has plenty of lounging areas to enjoy a deliciously warm New Mexico day.
The resort is open to day visitors, but if you are willing to splurge on your rest and relaxation, book a couple of nights in one of their cozy casitas.
Enjoy a warm bed, a crackling fireplace, and plush robes. Other on-site amenities include a spa and a restaurant. Book a therapeutic massage, hot stone treatment, or skin treatment so you head home pampered and revitalized. The restaurant serves a seasonal menu in a farm-to-table experience for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort is located on the southwestern edge of Santa Fe on Los Pinos Road.
For details about the spring-fed pools, dining options, and accommodations, visit the resort's website or Facebook page.
