Spend The Night In A Rural Glampsite In New Hampshire With Quick Access To Trails And Nature
We're big believers in the idea that beauty can be found all over, but when you truly want to get lost in the forest sometimes a true hike is the best option. There are tons of nature and trails here in New Hampshire, but depending on where you live getting to it could be half the day. That's why we love the idea of using this glamping tent as a base camp for access to some lovely trails.
Make your way to Sanborton in Belknap County and you'll find one of the most lovely off-grid glamping experiences in the region.
The 12x10' canvas walled tent sits on an acre of property about 5 minutes walking distance from the main house of the owners. The area is remote and you'll likely not see another person for your entire stay if you choose.
The tent is raised from the ground, which allows for a lovely small deck on the front. This is the perfect place to take in the view or to relax with a book.
Inside the tent is a full-sized bed with super comfy bedding. This is one very cozy place to spend the night!
Especially when you've got the wood stove cranking.
The tent is open year-round, which means staying warm is a necessity. And if that means staying cozied up in bed all day, so be it! The views are just as lovely from inside as they are from outside.
But if getting outside is what you came to do, be sure to check out the walking trails on the nearly 20 acres of surrounding property. Walk or run during warmer months, or bring your snowshoes and cross-country skis during the snowy ones.
While the tent is off-grid, visitors have access to the outhouse and outdoor shower.
And at night, make your own fire and enjoy the stars.
