Tucked away in the outskirts of Helena sits a 41-acre working farm and a renovated inn from 1928. Oddfellow Inn & Farm has a little bit of everything: cozy rooms for overnight guests, a delicious restaurant, adorable animals, and biodynamic farming. You may have seen this team at your local Farmers Market -- but rest assured, visiting them at the source is even better.

It all started in 2018, when Jared Engels and Paul Mabie started to look for land so they could pursue their dream of becoming farmers.

This land was a hidden gem they couldn't resist, and they immediately got to work.

Their mission was simple: to become natural farmers, using farming practices that imitate the way of nature.

Not only have they achieved that goal, but the team has opened up the farm to the public so the community can gather here.

The farm hosts events and activities throughout the year, including goat yoga.

Who wouldn't want to do yoga with goats?

You can often find their farm-fresh eggs and seasonal produce at Helena's Farmers Market.

The on-site restaurant, Maison, is open on the weekends, utilizing as many farm-fresh ingredients as possible.

For a relaxing experience and some old-fashioned hospitality, spend a night or two at the inn.

The Oddfellow was originally built in 1928 as the Montana Home for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and although it has been renovated, it still has its Old-World charms.

Choose between a King, Queen, and a Double Queen room, which are simple but elegant.

You won't find TVs in these cozy rooms -- in fact, you're encouraged to spend time outside enjoying nature when the weather allows.

The Oddfellow Inn and Farm is a delightful place to visit.

You won't believe you're just 10 minutes from downtown Helena.
