The Historic Sacajawea Hotel In Montana Is Notoriously Haunted And We Dare You To Spend The Night

The Sacajawea Hotel in Three Forks, Montana, is a historic and luxurious destination known for its paranormal activity.

The Sacajawea Hotel is a beautiful, nationally known historic treasure. Designed by John Q. Adams and finished in 1910, this property has hosted everyone from early railroad passengers to celebrities and numerous wedding parties. But there are some hotel guests who seem to have loved it so much, they never left. The Sacajawea is rumored to be one of the most haunted hotels in Montana.

The Sacagawea Hotel is located in Three Forks, where it has been hosting Montanans and tourists for over a century.

Mr. John Q. Adams was a purchasing agent for the Milwaukee Railroad, and he had it built as a rest stop for passengers and train crews.

The hotel weathered many hardships over the years, even closing down completely and getting boarded up in 2001.

Luckily, it was salvaged in 2009 when the Folkvord family purchased the property. And now, it's better than ever.

Currently, the hotel is the only Montana property that's a member of the Historic Hotels of America.

With 29 luxury guest rooms, two full-service bars, a steakhouse, and plenty of space for events, this is truly a choice destination.

But as fantastic as this hotel is, you should know that when you stay, you might get more than you bargained for.

Guests and employees alike have been experiencing paranormal activity for decades. There are even some who claim the spirits of John Q. Adams haunts this place.

There are numerous ghost stories involving this property, but the most common apparition seems to be that of a former housekeeper.

The housekeeper seems to emerge from a wall only to vanish into thin air moments later. Strange lights and bizarre sounds are also common. On more than one occasion, law enforcement has been called due to the strange activity -- but nothing is ever found.

If this hotel is haunted, it's certainly not haunted by unfriendly ghosts.

If you're going to have a paranormal experience, you may as well have one at a luxury hotel.

Have you ever spent the night at the Sacajawea Hotel?
