Go Glamping In Any Season At This Cozy Lakeside Montana Yurt
Discover a cozy yurt near Georgetown Lake, Montana, perfect for all-year glamping with modern amenities and scenic views.
When was the last time you went camping? Given the season, it's safe to say it has probably been a while. And while we'll have to wait a while longer before pitching a tent out in the middle of nowhere, we did discover a cozy yurt that allows all-year glamping. Take a look at this fantastic space.
You'll find this spacious yurt near the shoreline of Georgetown Lake, which sits about 23 miles west of Anaconda.
Georgetown Lake is an underrated part of Montana, and in the offseason, it's delightfully uncrowded.
Step inside and you'll see a spacious living area with all the comforts of home.
The yurt is heated with a Jotul gas stove that can be adjusted to your comfort level. And while there is a TV for your entertainment, the lack of WiFi will allow you to disconnect and enjoy being near nature.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, hot plate, skillet, and toaster oven.
Heat up your own tasty meals or bring home takeout from the nearby 7 Gables Restaurant or one of the local cafes.
Head upstairs to the loft for sweet slumber, where you'll find a double bed and an extra twin.
The futon downstairs also converts into a double bed for extra guests. And since the top of the yurt has a dome, you can fall asleep looking at the moon and stars each night.
The yurt also has a full bathroom for your convenience.
This really is like glamping in all the best ways.
Sipping your morning coffee or an evening beverage feels especially delightful from the little deck.
The sunsets here are simply mesmerizing.
You can rent the yurt for $140 - $180 nightly, depending on when you'd like to visit.
There's typically a two-night minimum stay, but we're betting you'll want to stay longer.
