Camp Sula In Montana May Become Your New Favorite Spring Destination

Camp Sula offers rustic cabins, campsites, and RV hook-ups with various amenities and activities, making it a charming destination near the Bitterroot River.

The tiny community of Sula is located about 13 miles from the Idaho border on the Bitterroot River. And while it's safe to say there's not much to it (it has a population of 37, after all), it does happen to be home to one of Montana's most charming cabin resorts. The historic Camp Sula is a fantastic hidden gem, and guests tend to fall in love with it after only one stay.

Camp Sula is a collection of cabins, campsites, and RV hook-ups that sit near Highway 93 on the East Fork of the Bitterroot River.

Since the property is located just 20 minutes from Lost Trail Ski Area, it's a popular winter destination -- but there's never a bad time to visit.

The cabins and cottages are rustic, but they'll have everything you need for a great stay.

They're stocked with linens, towels, basic kitchen utensils, and they even have WiFi.

But this place is so much more than a collection of cabins.

If you forgot something, don't worry -- the general store will have everything you need (and a few things you didn't know you needed).

The mini-golf course is extremely popular.

This is a fairly new addition to the property, and it's always fun to play a round of mini-golf with the family on a warm day while enjoying your favorite beverage.

When you get hungry, you don't have to leave Camp Sula or even cook your own meal (usually).

The on-site restaurant is open seven days a week beginning in late spring and lasting through fall (for hunting season).

The restaurant focuses mainly on breakfast and lunch, which they serve daily during peak season.

However, they do have a delicious dinner service a few nights a week.

Aside from all the amenities, the best thing about this place is the location.

Late spring is a fantastic time to stay here, when the weather has started to warm up but the summer crowds haven't arrived yet.
