This Little Known Inn Near Kansas City Is The Perfect Place To Get Away From It All
Belvoir Winery and Inn offers stunning views, unique architecture, and comfortable accommodations, making it a perfect getaway.
When the rush of the city gets to you and you feel the need to escape, where do you go? There are so many amazing places to get away from it all, but the perfect place to stay isn't all that far away. You won't have to travel long to find the getaway of your dreams!
Belvoir Winery and Inn is quite literally named after the beautiful views you see here.
"Belvoir" is French for "beautiful view" and all 170 acres of the property are equally stunning. Just take a look!
The building has had many renovations and additions over the years, but it's Jacobethan Revival style is unique to a building this size.
The Inn and surrounding grounds are a popular place for incredible events such as weddings. The Inn is a great place to stay, but it won’t keep you from exploring the local area.
Of course, that's if you're even able to leave the comfort of the Inn.
The rooms at Belvoir Inn are simply decorated but very comfortable. You couldn't pry me out of the library (shown above) if you wanted to!
The grounds are absolutely stunning in any weather.
Even when it's cold and snowing, a quick walk is a great way to enjoy the weather before heading right back to the warmth of your room.
The sunsets are simply incredible around the property. Where else can you find a sunset over a winery this gorgeous?
Plus, you're essentially living in a castle while you're here. Well, it feels like it!
The ONLY thing that might shock you... is George.
George is a real human skeleton. He used to be part of the Odd Fellows who first used the building back before it became this gorgeous winery and inn. He donated his body to science, and now receives a lot of flowers from brides, in exchange for good luck.
You'll find them at 1325 Odd Fellows Road in Liberty, Missouri. Happy travels!
When you're looking for a special night away from home, make sure you eat something delicious for dinner first! It really completes the experience.
