The Eco-Beach House In The Trees Is The Most Bookmarked Airbnb In Mississippi

The Eco-Beach House in the Trees in Waveland, Mississippi, is a unique and highly-rated Airbnb built around a live oak tree.

It’s reasonable to assume that the state’s most bookmarked Airbnb is amazing. Luckily, though, you don’t have to assume. You can decide for yourself because we’ve found it – and it’s the Eco-Beach House in the Trees. (Spoiler alert: it’s pretty great.)

Located in Waveland, the Eco-Beach House in the Trees has been making waves since its construction in 2015.

In January 2021, It’s a Southern Thing declared it the most bookmarked Airbnb in Mississippi.

One look at the tiny abode and it’s easy to see why it draws so much attention – it’s utterly unique. Plus, it’s built around a live oak and sits 14 feet off the ground.

At just 576 square feet, it’s tiny, but it doesn’t seem like it. Thanks to its “airy and open” layout, it feels much bigger.

Lots of large windows and towering ceilings that range from 12 – 20 feet also contribute to the roomy feel.

And thanks to careful planning, the house has everything you could want – including a fully-equipped kitchen (minus a microwave) and on-site herb garden.

Some of the home's amenities might even surprise you. For instance, the shower is actually pretty big.

And the bed is a queen size – not too shabby for a quaint 24-foot X 24-foot abode.

Worried there won’t be enough room to stretch out? Don’t worry; there’s additional space underneath the home.

With comfy seating and shelter from the shade, it’s perfect for dining and entertaining.
