Social Distance In Style At This Tiny Hotel In Mississippi
The Beatnik in Ocean Springs is a newly opened tiny hotel with floating cabins and unique amenities inspired by 50s and 60s beatnik culture.
Getting away looks a lot different these days. Crowded hotels and resorts aren’t exactly an option. However that doesn’t mean an in-state vacay is out of the question. It simply means you have to expand your horizons. And we’ve got the perfect place for you to do just that – the Beatnik, Mississippi’s newest tiny hotel. Take a look:
Opened just this month, the Beatnik in Ocean Springs features four floating cabins.
The tiny hotel has been in the works for quite a while, and with social distancing becoming commonplace, its opening couldn’t have come at a better time.
The hotel is inspired by the beatnik culture of the 50s and 60s – hence the name. And while it’s designed as a throwback to decades passed, it’s outfitted with lots of modern touches.
Each of the four units has virtually the same layout. And all include a wet bar, which is equipped with a mini fridge, sink, toaster oven, and coffeemaker.
Vowing to deliver a new way to stay, the tiny hotel boasts unique amenities, such as a meditation garden and plunge pool, that will encourage visitors to disconnect.
And if there’s not enough on-site to keep you entertained, you can venture off the property and explore downtown Ocean Springs, where you’ll find restaurants, shopping, beaches, and more.
