Usually located deep in the woods far from the hustle and bustle of daily life, cabins are perfect for unplugging, relaxing, and becoming one with nature. Ready for the perfect rustic getaway? 1. Tinmann Retreat, Roxie
If you’re looking for a secluded getaway along with the chance to connect with nature, this is definitely the place for you. Surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest, this quaint two-bedroom cabin is just 15 minutes from Clear Springs Recreation area, 35 minutes from great fishing at Lake Okissa, and 45 minutes from Natchez. 2. French Camp Historic District Bed and Breakfast, French Camp
Part of the French Camp Historic District, this bed and breakfast is constructed from two log cabins that were originally built between 1840 and 1870. There are also two other cabins on the property available for rent, perfect for a bit more privacy. 3. Pascagoula River Retreat, Moss Point

Enjoy everything from fishing and bird-watching to canoeing and kayaking at this waterfront cabin. Able to sleep up to eight people, it features a spacious interior, covered deck overlooking the canal, dock, and a covered area underneath the cabin, which includes two picnic tables and a charcoal grill. 4. Lake Tiak-O'Khata, Louisville
At Lake Tiak-O’Khata you’ll find seven amazing waterfront cabins that can accommodate groups of various sizes, ranging from two – eight people. Aside from modern-day conveniences, like cable TV and DVD players, each cabin has a charcoal grill and private pier. Don’t feel like cooking while on vacation? 5. Forest Retreat, Gloster
Hidden in the trees of the Homochitto National Forest, you’ll find this little-known getaway, which includes three cabins all constructed from lumber that came from the land. 6. Walshtown Retreat Cabin, Myrtle
Nestled in a serene setting, this remote cabin can sleep up to six people inside and two more on the Sleeping Porch, a screened-in porch that includes a sleeper sofa (and all the fresh country air you can handle). 7. Pond Store Cabins, Woodville
Perfect for couples and small groups, these quaint cabins each feature two queen size beds, a sleeping loft, and kitchenette. The property also includes the Pond Store, a still-functioning old-fashioned country store that dates back to the 1880s, and is just 300 yards from the Clark Creek Nature Area. This barn-turned-cabin is located within walking distance from the Square, which offers dining, shopping, and more. 9. Lazy Leaf River Estate, Moselle
Able to accommodate up to ten people, this secluded cabin is located on 4.5 acres and overlooks the Leaf River, which is great for kayaking and fishing. Whether you’re looking for a quick getaway or extended vacation, Shoreline Park can deliver.
