Every now and then, all couples need to get away for a little "us" time, even if it's just a quick weekend escape. I'm lucky to live in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, where many options are available for such a romantic getaway. Even if you live elsewhere in the Land of 10,000 Lakes - or even farther afield - you should consider the Minneapolis-St. Paul area for a weekend escape. In fact, I can offer you five reasons to do so - in the form of these Minneapolis-St. Paul hotels are perfect for a romantic weekend getaway.
1. Nicollet Island Inn - Minneapolis, Minnesota
