I'm lucky to live in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, where many options are available for such a romantic getaway. Even if you live elsewhere in the Land of 10,000 Lakes - or even farther afield - you should consider the Minneapolis-St. Paul area for a weekend escape.
