The magnificent Lakeside Haven in Worcester is a gorgeous lakeside Airbnb that makes for a perfect retreat for friends or family. I have to admit that I never really considered Worcester a place to enjoy a lakeside getaway. Like many of us, our aquatic escapes tend to lead us to the Cape! However, when I discovered this listing, everything changed. I could certainly see myself living my best life here.

Lakeside Haven is a beautiful property located right on Lake Quinsigamond, one of the best lakes in Massachusetts for boating, swimming, and fishing. The house is spacious, and the views are amazing. It is considered one of Airbnb’s favorite properties among guests.

The three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom vacation rental features four beds and comfortably accommodates up to nine guests. Imagine waking up to stunning lakeside views like this, or spending some time relaxing in this comfortable living area.

I would love to curl up with a good book and gaze out at the lake. The owners of this lakeside Airbnb in Worcester have done a remarkable job with design. I love these large windows that give you those spectacular million-dollar views from just about everywhere in the house.

While the inside of the home is spectacular, the outside is even better! This deck is the perfect place for everyone to get together to enjoy some cocktails.

There is also a pizza oven and a built-in grill that guests can use. If cooking isn't on your to-do list while you're on vacation (I get it), there are plenty of restaurants in Worcester. I'd highly recommend Miss Worcester Diner—this old-fashioned diner from the 1940s is a local favorite. 

The dock outside is such a fun place to swim, fish, or kayak. You can bring your own boat and dock it here, or take out one of the two complimentary kayaks that are available for guests to use. The owners also have a basic pontoon that's available to rent for an extra charge.

While you definitely will feel like you are far away from the city, you are actually close to many great restaurants, entertainment venues, and attractions. While you are in Worcester, be sure to visit the iconic George’s Coney Island and feast on delicious hot dogs.
