The Envoy Hotel’s Lookout Rooftop and Bar is home to one of the coolest gathering spots in Boston.
This unique hangout is dotted with nine glowing, heated igloos.
The igloos can fit up to 10 people. The come loaded with cozy fleece blankets to snuggle into, even though each igloo is heated and the temperate can be controlled by the occupants.
Best of all, you won’t need to leave the toasty igloo to order a drink – simply press a button to notify a server.
The experience wouldn’t be complete without some grown-up hot chocolate or cider– try the red wine hot cocoa with almond milk and cinnamon, served steaming.
Or maybe a lemony hot toddy or hot cocoa porter is more your style?
The igloos are available on a first come, first serve basis. You can also rent out whole igloos in two-hour increments.
If you want to snack, the Lookout will be offering light bites on the rooftop starting in January. Until then, head to the main restaurant for some seriously good eats.
For example, you can feast on Cuban sliders with braised pork and gruyere, tostones with guacamole, or butternut and sage flatbread.
And you can't leave without sampling the cognac mac and cheese with smoked gouda, aged cheddar, garlic bread crumbs, and lobster.
Don’t miss this incredible wintery experience this season at the Envoy Hotel’s Lookout Rooftop.
