Today we're heading west to the town of Oakland, Maryland.

That's where you'll find Backbone Food Farm, which is located along Lynndale Road. Here, the simple life is the only way of life.

Backbone Food Farm offers chemical free produce, including a CSA, and pastured pork.

In the summertime, they host a Kids Farm Camp where children can learn about growing vegetables, animal care, and more.

What many people don't know is that you can also stay the night at this secluded spot.

Backbone Food Farm is home to an onsite cottage that you can rent through Airbnb.

The cottage can sleep up to four guests with its queen bed and pullout couch. It also includes a mini fridge, microwave, space heater, wood stove, coffee maker, fishing gear, and more.

There's a bathroom with a running shower located at the nearby farmhouse, about 40-feet away. After relaxing for the night...

...awake to explore the pastures, gardens, and woods. Springtime is especially beautiful as wildflowers pop up all around.

There's a stocked pond for fishing or swimming. You can also set up a campfire or use the onsite grill.

And of course, be sure to say hello to the resident pigs, horses, cows, and friendly dogs. See you at the farm!
