This Kentucky Airbnb Is Like Stepping onto the Set of Game of Thrones
Winter is coming...when you book a stay at this Game of Thrones-themed Kentucky Airbnb.
We often feature unique Kentucky Airbnbs that boast a beautiful view or a prime location, but we rarely find a vacation rental in Kentucky with a theme as awesome as this one. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Lexington, consider booking this Kentucky Airbnb that feels like stepping onto the set of Game of Thrones. It's right in the heart of Downtown Lexington and is the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway. Let's check it out:
Seven blessings from this Game of Thrones-themed Airbnb in Lexington, Kentucky! If you’ve ever wanted to immerse yourself in the iconic book or television show, then this is it. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom vacation rental is fully decked out to live your best life as a lord or lady of the house.
Walking around the space, you’ll notice that every nook and cranny has been carefully decorated to fit the theme. Even the custom-built coffee maker! Make lattes, cappuccinos, and regular coffee with just the touch of a button.
The historic home was built in the mid-1800s, though the design makes it feel like you’re wandering through medieval times. Knights' helmets adorn the mantle, medieval weaponry accents the walls, and hand-crafted torch sconces ensure you’re fully immersed in this medieval world. There’s even an iron throne!
Guests rave about the steam shower, which has two shower heads and plenty of space for two. Once you try a steam shower, you’ll be fantasizing about renovating your own bathroom back home. It’s truly a game changer!
The custom California King bed boasts a mini-dungeon, colorful mood lighting, and faux fur blankets. The attention to detail here is truly superb.
The only thing better than the accommodation is the location. You’ll be right in the heart of downtown Lexington, with everything within walking distance! Just a few of the nearby attractions include Transylvania University, the University of Kentucky, the Mary Lincoln Todd House, and the historic Lexington Cemetery.
Of course, you’re within walking distance to several bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, too. I’d highly recommend swinging by Doodles for breakfast or lunch. It’s less than a block away, and this unique Lexington restaurant serves some of the best comfort food in town. It’s housed in a repurposed gas station, adding an extra element of charm! It’s been a downtown Lexington staple for more than 15 years.
