The Magnificent Bucolic Airbnb in Kentucky That Is Perfect for a Spring Retreat
This idyllic spring retreat Airbnb in Irvine, Kentucky is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing stay away from it all.
Estill County, known as the place where ‘The Bluegrass Kisses the Mountains,’ is the perfect location to relax. With rolling, gentle hills that build into steep Appalachian mountains, the scenic views are abundant and breathtaking. I love to get away to rural regions of the Bluegrass State for the slower pace and stunning landscapes, especially during spring! There's something magical about everything coming back to life after winter (myself included). This three-bedroom A-frame house is the perfect Airbnb for a spring retreat in the largest town in Estill County, Irvine, Kentucky.
With 3,446 square feet, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms, the rental home comfortably hosts seven guests.
The house sits on 1.4 acres of land and has a private pond. Guests have a spectacular view of fields, the pond, and mountains from the home's large picture windows.
Several outdoor spaces invite guests into the fresh air. A large wrap-around deck provides ample space for sitting and enjoying the view. Doesn’t the deck look like the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning?
The property has a fire pit surrounded by comfortable chairs. Get a fire going around sunset and then stick around to do a little stargazing! That's one of my favorite things to do in the springtime.
Guests can roast marshmallows or bask in the fire's warmth on a cool spring night.
The home has a well-stocked kitchen and a beautiful dining room with an Amish-made table.
The dining room has incredible windows on three walls, giving those seated at the table a front-row seat to the outdoors. The view could make even the most casual meals feel exceptional.
Many animals live on the property, including the owners’ Scottish Highland heifer, Ursula, and Suffolk Punch draft horse, Farrah.
Deer and turkeys also often visit the property. Those interested in fishing can catch bluegill, sunfish, and other species off the private pond dock.
The Airbnb in Irvine, Kentucky, has a generously sized living room with incredible views of the great outdoors.
The room also has an electric fireplace, which is perfect for chilly seasons. We all know to expect at least one fashionably late cold front during spring. The home’s basement even has a sauna, treadmill, and rowing machine for guests.
Irvine, Kentucky, is an incredible destination with unique attractions and natural wonders. Irvine sits along part of the huge Daniel Boone National Forest, which consists of more than 700,000 acres and spans 21 counties in eastern Kentucky. The national forest is well worth a visit and has more than 600 miles of hiking trails.
While in the area, visitors can stop by The Real McCoy Antique and Vendor Market, an antique shop owned by a relative of the McCoy family (of the notorious Hatfield and McCoy feud). The Burger Barn Drive-In serves delicious comfort food and is a great place to eat in Irvine.
