This Airbnb in Kentucky Is Peak Fall Vibes
This three-bedroom cabin in Red River Gorge is the perfect jumping off point for fall adventures.
Fall may be the best time to visit Red River Gorge. The jaw-dropping fall foliage makes for stunning scenic drives and prime photography opportunities. The cool, crisp weather is ideal for hiking and climbing during the day and cozy campfires at night. We've found an Airbnb in Red River Gorge that's peak fall vibes. Twin Arch Cabin in Stanton, Kentucky, is a roomy Airbnb for six with spectacular ridge views. During fall, when the treetops are radiant shades of red, orange, yellow, and green, the views are out of this world.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom A-frame cabin is perfectly situated to take advantage of the best of the season. One of the cabin’s best features is its front porch. From here, guests can enjoy panoramic views of the fall foliage. Can you imagine sipping your coffee or tea on a brisk morning with this view?
The cabin’s other outdoor spaces are bursting with fall vibes. There is a hot tub, perfect for soaking, and a fire pit, ideal for s’mores on a chilly evening. From both the hot tub and the fire pit, there are views of a fantastic sandstone rock formation. You can enjoy one of Red River Gorge’s defining characteristics, its rugged natural rocks, without ever leaving the property.
The cabin's interior is just as beautiful as its exterior, with an open kitchen, dining, and living space decked in warm wooden planks. The kitchen has wood cabinets, black appliances, a coffee maker, and a microwave. Steps away is a welcoming dining table with six seats. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this comfortable space has what visitors need to prepare and enjoy delicious meals. I can imagine baking pumpkin spice muffins or cinnamon rolls here on a gorgeous fall day.
Twin Arch Cabin has three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with a queen bed. Each bed has plush bedding and a nightstand with a lamp. Crawling into a toasty bed when the temperatures drop is one of the delights of fall.
Guests won’t have to travel far from the Airbnb to find wonderful fall adventures in Red River Gorge. It’s minutes away from the Nada Tunnel, known as “The Gateway to Red River Gorge.” The unique narrow tunnel was originally constructed by a lumber company and is only 12 feet wide, allowing one car to pass at a time. Twin Arch Cabin is also near the scenic 715 loop, offering incredible views of the area. Nearby hikes include the Double Arch Trail, a 4.5-mile moderately difficult hike through lush old-growth forests.
As heaven on earth in Kentucky, Red River Gorge has even more to offer visitors. There are places to kayak, fish, and climb. You can also swim in a natural swimming hole, provided the weather is warm enough, or ride UTVs in an epic and unique adventure. It’s no wonder that people return to Red River Gorge for awesome autumn getaways year after year. There’s far too much to do to squeeze it all in on one visit!
