It's also near part of the Sheltowee Trace Trail, a whopping 321-mile trail stretching from Morehead, Kentucky, into Tennessee. A 30-minute drive from Hemlock Haven takes visitors to the Pinnacles of Berea, a 7.1-mile loop trail with breathtaking views.

The gorge has beloved trails like the Gray's Arch Trail and the Rock Bridge Trail, an unforgettable destination hike. The Chimney Top Trail is an easy Red River Gorge trail that's 0.7 miles long and offers stunning gorge views.
