From unique hotels to vacation rentals, there are virtually endless cool places to stay in Kansas. Enjoying a stay somewhere a little off the beaten path is so much fun: it really adds to the overall vibe of your trip and can make it even more memorable. Whether you're visiting from across the country or are just enjoying a staycation an hour away from your home, I'm a firm believer in where you sleep making or breaking your trip. Mulvane is a city of around 6,200 in south-central Kansas, about half an hour southeast of Topeka. It's an agricultural city with a lot of history and is probably best known as the home of Kansas Star Casino. If you find yourself looking for one of the most unique places to stay in Mulvane, KS, you won't want to miss the treehouses and yurt available through Pulliam Cattle Co. These are so cool, check them out:

Pulliam Cattle Co. is a small family-owned cattle ranch that is also home to three treehouses and a yurt available for rent.

Each treehouse (or the yurt) can sleep between two and four guests. They're the perfect couple's getaway.

While you won't have access to a full kitchen, each stay has a microwave and mini fridge, so you can prepare simple meals.
