The property has a long history. The original farm was part of a land grant in the 1850s. The son of the original settler built the house and farm buildings around 1911. The farm changed hands a number of times before becoming a bed and breakfast in 1993.
The farm is gorgeous in all seasons, but it's especially beautiful in the spring when the trees are in full bloom.
In 2004, the farm began producing wine. The owners planted 11 acres of grapes and by 2011 it produced 50,000 bottles of wine, including four white wines, six red wines, a rose', as well as raspberry, rhubarb and cranberry wines.
The wines have received gold and silver medals at the Mid America Wine Competition. When you taste the wines, you'll see why they won the judges over.
The business also sells a variety of antique and vintage items.
The Farm House is a working farm but the only job that guests have is to relax!
