Delphi, Indiana, is a small town with just over 2,900 people, full of plenty of things to do and see. It's a close-knit community, and when it comes to happiness, there's no shortage. This charming small town in Indiana is an excellent place to weekend getaway, and I think I've found the single best place to stay in Delphi. To say it's "beautiful" or "peaceful" is a bit of an understatement.

Nature lovers will find a new favorite place in the beautiful town of Delphi; it seems like everywhere you turn, you'll discover yet another outdoor delight to kill a whole afternoon with. I think the most notable of these is the famous Monon Rail Trail, which goes straight through Delphi (and beyond). If you're a fan of exploring the canals, you'll want to ride on The Delphi, an awesome canal boat unlike any others you'll find in the entire Midwest. The Wabash and Erie Canal Park is a great way to kill an entire day (or longer), with lots of things to do and see—and plenty of hiking trails.

Once you're ready to retire, the Fairytale Farmhouse will be waiting. Curl up with a good book in the library, or enjoy the weather basking in the sunroom. All pets are welcome, so bring Fido if you'd like. Explore the grounds, taking in the wonder of the trails and creeks or perhaps planting yourself next to the cozy pond onsite. Few things are as delightful as hanging out with the ponies, ducks, and farm cats.
