It's a cute little town hidden in Washington County with a population of just over 1,300 as of the 2020 census; it's a quiet place without much going on, but this makes it amazing for relaxing and getting away from real life for a while. And oh my goodness - you're going to love the place I found for you to rest your head at while you're here. It's an astonishingly beautiful cabin in Indiana with floor-to-ceiling windows that are sure to take your breath away.

And don't even get me STARTED on the views from those windows, either.

As you approach this stunning, modern cabin you'll notice little parts and pieces of it reveal themselves as you near it through the trees.

The whole thing is breathtaking once you get to it.

I am hopelessly obsessed with those windows; wait until you see what it looks like on the inside! I can only imagine how amazing it is to look outside and see that you're surrounded by lush greenery, autumn splendor, or a winter wonderland. It's amazing no matter when you show up.

The decor is elegant and modern, with a black-and-white color scheme (with accent colors, of course!) and gorgeous furniture that really ties the whole experience together.

Set on 12 acres, you'll find yourself surrounded by silent, stunning woods in all directions. Let the singing of birds in the background tinge everything you do with a sense of peace and wonder - it's easy! You'll see. This is an idyllic place to unplug and unwind with the outdoors as a calming backdrop.

The cabin sleeps up to six, though I recommend it for a couples' retreat or even a wonderful self-care solo outing.

Outside, you'll find an incredible 1,000+ square foot deck that allows you to admire the outdoors in every direction. It's breathtaking, to say the least.

A babbling, peaceful brook meanders through the property and makes for an excellent hiking partner.

Meander along the river's edge and relax - you have time. I recommend you stay at least a couple nights, but ultimately, you get to choose your own adventure.
